Q. When will I learn if Cash4GiftCards.com has accepted my offer to sell my gift card/certificate for cash?
A. If we accept your offer to sell your gift card for cash, we will
notify you by email. You can also check the current status of your offer by
reviewing the Cash4GiftCards.com Tracking System for your transaction. Simply log in
to your Cash4GiftCards.com Cash Back Account using the email address you provided
when you set up your account to see the current status of your cash back
transaction.
If we don't accept your offer to sell your gift card for cash within a few days, please check back periodically or look for our email notification. As our gift
card inventory needs change, we may be able to accept your offer to sell your gift card for cash at a later time.
Q. How much will I receive for my gift card/certificate?
A. If we accept your offer to sell your gift card for cash, generally we will pay 75% of the current value of valid, unexpired gift cards. And generally we will
pay 25% of the pre-expiration value for expired gift cards.
Note: If your gift card is not from a national / multi-regional retailer OR if your gift card's terms and conditions are too restrictive OR if your gift card is
not in high demand in the marketplace, we may not be able to purchase it at the above rates of 75% (for unexpired gift cards) and 25% (for expired gift cards).
However, we may offer to purchase your gift card at a lower rate.
Q. How long does the entire process take?
A. If we accept your offer to sell your gift card for cash, then the next step is for you to accept our Terms of Use. Once you have agreed to our Terms of Use, we
will provide a mailing address for you to submit your gift card to us for processing. After we we receive your gift card, we will attempt to validate it. Once
validated, a payment in the form of a money order or cashier's check will be sent to you. On average the entire process takes approximately 4 weeks.
Q. Why does it take on average approximately 4 weeks to process my gift card transaction?
A. Once we receive your gift card, there are two primary reasons why the processing of your transaction may on average take approximately 4 weeks to process: (1)
Because we are the only website that consistently offers to purchase unexpired gift cards for 75% of their current value, regardless of the gift card size and
for almost any merchant, we deal with a high volume of transactions. Therefore, very high volume periods will naturally add to our overall processing time; and
(2) In order to protect ourselves against gift card fraud, we require a longer processing time than you will find on our competitors' websites. If there is a
potential fraud problem with a gift card being offered to us for sale, this additional processing time affords us the opportunity to fully investigate the
history of each gift card. Our goal is to make sure that each gift card we accept is valid and that we are purchasing gift cards from legitimate sources.

A. If we accept your offer to trade your gift card for any gift card(s) in our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory, we will notify you by email. At any time, you
can also review your Cash4GiftCards.com Trading Account Details for information about the current status of your offer to trade your gift card for our gift cards.
To see the current status of your trading transaction, simply log in to
your Cash4GiftCards.com Trading Account using the email address you provided when you set up your account.
Q. What are my trading options and how much does it cost to trade my gift card/certificate for any gift card(s) in the Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory?
A. You can trade your gift card for one or more gift card(s) in the Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory. We offer several trading options:
The Cash4GiftCards.com Even Trade
If the value of your gift card EQUALS the value of our gift card(s) that you select for trade, you will be charged a trading fee equal to 15% of the current
value of your gift card.
Example of a Cash4GiftCards.com Even Trade
You have a $200 gift card that you want to trade. You choose one or more gift cards totaling $200 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory. Let's say you
select a $100 Walmart gift card and a $100 Macy's gift card for a grand total of $200. The Cash4GiftCards.com Gift Card Trade-In Calculator© will appear as follows:
You are not due any Cash Back because you are trading a $200 gift card for gift cards totaling $200 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory; therefore, there
is no Cash Back Fee. There is no Upgrade Charge because you did not select gift cards totaling more than $200 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory;
therefore, you do not owe any amount over the $200 trade-in value of your gift card. Your Trade Fee is $30 (i.e., 15% of the $200 value of your gift card).
Therefore, the amount you owe to Cash4GiftCards.com is $30.
The Cash4GiftCards.com Upgrade Trade
If the value of your gift card is LESS THAN the value of our gift card(s) that you select for trade, you will be charged (1) a trading fee equal to 15% of the
current value of your gift card AND (2) an upgrade charge equal to the difference in value between our gift card(s) and your gift card.
Example of a Cash4GiftCards.com Upgrade Trade
You have a $200 gift card that you want to trade. You choose one or more gift cards totaling more than $200 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory. Let's
say you select a $50 Walmart gift card and a $250 Macy's gift card for a grand total of $300. The Cash4GiftCards.com Gift Card Trade-In Calculator© will appear as follows:
You are not due any Cash Back because you are trading a $200 gift card for gift cards totaling $300 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading
inventory; therefore, there is
no Cash Back Fee. There is a $100 Upgrade Charge because you are getting $300 worth of gift cards for your $200 gift card . . . the difference is $100;
therefore, you owe $100 for the additional amount of gift card value you are receiving over the $200 trade-in value of your gift card. Your Trade Fee is $30
(i.e., 15% of the $200 value of your gift card). Therefore, the amount you owe to Cash4GiftCards.com is $130 (i.e., your $30 Trade Fee plus the $100 Upgrade
Charge).
The Cash4GiftCards.com Cash Back Trade
If the value of your gift card is MORE THAN the value of our gift card(s) that you select for trade, you will receive cash back if the difference in value between your gift card and our gift card(s) is greater than (1) the trading fee equal to 15% of the amount of your gift card that is applied towards the trade for our gift card(s) AND (2) the cash back fee equal to 25% of the difference in value between your gift card and our gift card(s).

You have a $200 gift card that you want to trade. You choose one or more gift cards totaling less than $200 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory. Let's
say you select a $50 Walmart gift card and a $50 Macy's gift card for a grand total of $100. The Cash4GiftCards.com Gift Card Trade-In Calculator© will appear as follows:
You begin with $100 in Cash Back because you are trading a $200 gift card for gift cards totaling only $100 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading
inventory . . . the
difference is $100. The Cash Back Fee is $25 (i.e., 25% of the $100 cash back to you). There is no Upgrade Charge because you did not select gift cards
totaling more than $200 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory . . . you are trading a $200 gift card for $100 worth of gift cards and $100 cash back;
therefore, you do not owe any amount over the $200 trade-in value of your gift card. Your Trade Fee is $15 (i.e., 15% of the $100 portion of your gift card that
you traded). Therefore, the amount due you is $60 (i.e., your $100 Cash Back minus your $15 Trade Fee and minus your $25 Cash Back Fee).
The Cash4GiftCards.com Wash Trade
If the value of your gift card is MORE THAN the value of our gift card(s) that you select for trade, you will not receive cash back and you will not owe an amount to Cash4GiftCards.com if the difference in value between your gift card and our gift card(s) is exactly equivalent to (1) the trading fee equal to 15% of the amount of your gift card that is applied towards the trade for our gift card(s) AND (2) the cash back fee equal to 25% of the difference in value between your gift card and our gift card(s).
Example of a Cash4GiftCards.com Wash Trade
You have a $120 gift card that you want to trade. You choose one or more gift cards totaling less than $120 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory. Let's
say you select a $50 Walmart gift card and a $50 Macy's gift card for a grand total of $100. The Cash4GiftCards.com Gift Card Trade-In Calculator© will appear as follows:
You begin with $20 in Cash Back because you are trading a $120 gift card for gift cards totaling only $100 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading
inventory . . . the
difference is $20. The Cash Back Fee is $5 (i.e., 25% of the $20 cash back to you). There is no Upgrade Charge because you did not select gift cards totaling
more than $120 from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory . . . you are trading a $120 gift card for $100 worth of gift cards and $20 cash back; therefore, you do
not owe any amount over the $120 trade-in value of your gift card. Your Trade Fee is $15 (i.e., 15% of the $100 portion of your gift card that you traded).
Because the $20 amount due you in cash back is equal to the total of the $15 Trade and $5 Cash Back Fees you owe, the trade is a wash . . . you owe nothing to
Cash4GiftCards.com and we owe no cash back to you.
Q. What happens after I submit an offer to trade my gift card for gift cards in the Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory? Also, how long does the entire process
take?
A. Most gift card offers to trade are reviewed within a day of your submission.
If we accept your offer to trade your gift card for any gift card(s) in our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory, we will notify you by email. At any time, you can
also review your Cash4GiftCards.com Trading Account Details for information about the current status of your offer to trade your gift card for our gift cards. To see the current
status of your trading transaction, simply log in to your Cash4GiftCards.com Trading Account using the email address you provided when you set up your account.
If we accept your offer to trade your gift card for our gift cards and you owe an amount to Cash4GiftCards.com for the trade (e.g., your trade is either a Cash4GiftCards.com Even
Trade or a Cash4GiftCards.com Upgrade Trade -- see examples of each type of trade above), then you will see a "PAY WITH PAYPAL" button in the Cash4GiftCards.com Trading Account Details for your
transaction. Simply click on the "PAY WITH PAYPAL" button and you wil be taken to PayPal to pay the amount you owe to trade for our gift cards. You will need
to complete your payment transaction via PayPal within 48 hours of our acceptance of your offer to trade or your transaction will be automatically cancelled.
After you submit payment for your transaction (or if you did not owe an amount to Cash4GiftCards.com for the trade because your trade was either a Cash4GiftCards.com Cash Back Trade or
a Cash4GiftCards.com Wash Trade -- see examples of each type of trade above), then you will see a "PRINT" button in the Cash4GiftCards.com Trading Account Details for your transaction. Simply click
on the "PRINT" button to print a copy of your transaction details and mailing instructions and send a copy with your gift card to the address provided.
Once we receive your gift card, we will attempt to validate your gift card. If there are any problems with your gift card (e.g., we cannot verify the gift card
balance as stated in your offer to trade, the gift card has not been activated by the merchant, the gift card has been deactivated by the merchant, etc.), we
will notify you by email and attempt to work with you to validate your gift card.
After we have successfully validated your gift card, we will send you the gift card(s) you selected for trade from our Cash4GiftCards.com trading inventory. If your
transaction involved a Cash4GiftCards.com Cash Back Trade (see the example of a Cash4GiftCards.com Cash Back Trade above), then we will also send you a Cash Back payment in the form of a money order
or cashier's check.
On average the entire process takes approximately 4 weeks.

inventory?
